Nico (on the left) should be congratulated for going to bat for our community!

He thought that there needs to be a way to fund the things that the community needs and so he put together an incredible (seriously!) show to raise money for Lance’s top surgery.

He was hoping that the event would do well because he would like to make it a regular thing.

I believe that this is the first time that the community came together to specifically try to help fund someone’s surgery. I am really glad that I was able to be there for this historic event!

The show featured the GenderMen (a Houston drag king troupe) as well as some of my favorite performers: Vanity and Melissa.
