Today I got a call from my best friend, Carolyn. Someone had broken into her home and stole all of her valuables, including the laptop she depends on. I road over to her house to sit with her while she waited for the police to show up. She’s had such a hard time of it recently and it broke my heart to see her in tears. She had no idea how she’d be able to replace her laptop.

So, I let the community know what happened. In less than 3 hours, the community had raised more than enough to replace her laptop.
