Jennifer Usher Being Jennifer Usher

Cristan

It was brought to my attention that I – well, not me… a rhetorical strawman a troll claims to be me – was the subject of yet another post. Jennifer Usher claims to be critiquing my critique of Serano’s assertion which asserts that noting that I’m a trans[pause]woman is good while noting that I’m MTF is bad. Serano’s assertion that MTF is bad is based entirely on her own personal opinion and nothing more. Therefore, I felt the reasoning she presented in her book seemed faulty.

The troll completely misrepresents my post about Serano’s assertion by pretending to defend herself against my supposed and entirely fictitious claim that only I get to decide who is and who isn’t a women:

She goes on to pretend that her right and ability to call herself whatever she likes is under attack in the comment section:

After decrying the mythical attack on her right to call herself whatever she likes, she writes:

In response to someone asking her why she chooses to claim that I’m a man.

While I’m aware that pointing out her logical inconsistencies might represent feeding the trolls, I decided to make this post because people were telling me that she’s not allowing people’s comments on her blog.

I therefore thought I’d make sure that everyone but Jenifer had an opportunity to fully comment on her pablum here.

UPDATE: Apparently I’m not the only target of this troll. Suzan over at Women Born Transsexual is getting it too
