The false dichotomy:

Those who argue against the reality of the trans experience almost always employ local fallacies and imagery that purposefully misrepresent…

…the trans experience in the service of inspiring fear, shame and guilt.

While I’ve come to expect that the smug right-wing will barf out one lie after another, it comes as a bit of a shock when I hear the same smug garbage spewing out of the mouths of some of our brothers and sisters within the GLB community.
